Quantum Smart Card (QkarD)
Los Alamos physicists from the Quantum-secured Communications team in Applied Modern Physics have developed a new device, QkarD, that enables the transfer of quantum keys through a secure and central server. The technology uses the laws of quantum physics to encrypt data, making the encryption virtually unbreakable, even given expected future advances in processing power.
