Germanium Array for Neutron-Induced Excitations (GEANIE)

The Germanium Array for Neutron-Induced Excitations (GEANIE) is a gamma-ray detector consisting of 26 high-resolution germanium detectors. GEANIE is the first high-resolution gamma-ray spectrometer to be used at a white neutron source. GEANIE’s mission is to take measurements at critical cross sections of nuclear weapons testing.
