Cryogenic Apparatus for Precision Tests of Argon Interactions with Neutrinos (CAPTAIN)

CAPTAIN is a time projection chamber with a neutrino detector deployed inside a liquid argon filled cryostat. The mission of CAPTAIN is to provide supporting measurements for the development of the Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiment, which seeks to answer long-standing questions about neutrinos, including the existence of sterile neutrinos and non-standard interactions.
